My first member was my husband. He was the very first person to sign up on my website, and yes, that made me cry. But it also made me realize something important: the people who resonate with what I'm creating will find it. I just need to be myself. I just need to be genuine.

I had hoped to reach five members by the end of the year.

Now, as I'm writing this, there are thirty of you reading these words.

I know that in a world of social media, where numbers can look small or big depending on who you're standing next to, thirty might not seem like much. But to me? It's surreal. Each one of you chose to be here, chose to let me into a small corner of your month, and I am so grateful for that.

January used to be the month of resolutions for me. The month of to-do lists and big plans. But also the month where I'd feel the weight of all the unfinished things from the year before, stacking up like boxes I never quite got around to unpacking.

This year, I decided not to do that.

I still have plans. I still have goals. But I'm not treating them like a to-do list with a deadline anymore. I'd rather see where this year takes me. I'd rather stay present in each moment instead of constantly racing toward the next one.

There's a quote from Guimarães Rosa, one of Brazil's greatest authors, that I keep coming back to: "What's real isn't found at the start or the finish; it lives in the in-between."

I've been trying to live in that in-between. Every now and then, I look over my shoulder to see how far I've come. Eventually, I look ahead to what's in front of me. But more often than ever, I'm learning to enjoy my path and every step I take along it.

The inspiration for this month’s postcard came from one of my favorite movies, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I keep a poster of it in my studio, a gift from my husband, and it watches over all the creative messes I make. What I love most about that film is its message: no matter how happy or sad our memories are, they're just as important. They make us who we are. There's no point in trying to erase them or wishing they were different.

That's where the clementines came from; another reference to the movie, but also a nod to the many chocolate oranges I've been eating lately. The bookmark felt like a natural addition, because winter is the perfect time to catch up on reading while you're bundled up inside with a mug of hot chocolate or tea.

Inside this envelope, you'll also find seeds. A "Plant your dreams" prompt with biodegradable seed paper. Not because you need to start something right now, but because sometimes our intentions grow in their own time, when we're ready for them.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for giving this little mail club a place in your life. Thank you for trusting me with a corner of your month.

And as always, feel free to write back if you ever feel like it. I love hearing from you.

Love, Bea

Dear Coollectors,

One month ago, I was sitting at my desk making a list of all the reasons why I shouldn't send out my first mail club package.

December is the busiest month of the year. People are drowning in holiday shopping. Their mailboxes are already full of cards from family and friends. Who was I to add one more thing to that pile? What if they opened it and felt disappointed? What if it wasn't enough?

The list kept growing, and so did the fear.

But then I started packing the envelopes. And something shifted. I found myself smiling as I tucked each piece inside, imagining someone finding it in their mailbox. Imagining that small moment of surprise. The experience of opening something made just for them.
